Alyssandra: Crawls towards mom from across the room
Mom: sees baby coming and crouches down with arms stretched out and welcome her efforts
Alyssandra: squeals in excitement and crawls faster with a huge smile on her face
Mom: exclaims "that's such a long way to go, come see mama"
Alyssandra: reaches mom and sits back with arms stretched up
Mom: picks baby up and goes to give a kiss and say "good job"
Alyssandra; immediately arches back and complains to be put back down
My little sassy pants.. You're getting to be so independent, already! You're only 6.5 months old, please slow down.

6 months old
You are six months old now and I cannot believe how fast it is going by. You are such a happy baby, it is a joy to have you in my life every day.
You started crawling this week! You've been scooting around on the floor, dragging your body with those little arms since you were 4.5 months old. Finally you're on your hands and knees crawling around like a champ. Of course the day after you start crawling, you started pulling up on things! Already trying to travel and learn how to walk. Such an overachiever, already! Then again, "overachiever" might not be the right term. Such a talented baby sounds much better:)
You are still breastfed, but get solid food 2x a day, breakfast and dinner. You get so, so excited about new flavors!
You are sleeping in your crib for the first round of sleep now. Once you wake up, I still bring you into bed with me. You typically sleep from 7:30pm - 3/4am, so it's a good first stretch. You then eat and go back to sleep till 7am, eat and go back to sleep till 8/9am. I couldn't ask for better!
You nap 2x per day. Usually in the morning for 45 minutes and afternoon for 1.5hrs.
You're wearing 9 month old clothes! I have a feeling you're going to be a long legged girl. Beautiful one at that. Your eyes and smile are already amazing.
I can't wait to see you tomorrow. Love you, my little girl.

4 months old
You are 4 months old and growing daily! You're trying to grow out of 6 month old clothing already, those long legs need room!
You're a co-sleeper baby, you will not stay in your bassinet at night. You like to snuggle with mama. I don't mind, but my body is getting cranky because I an never be in a comfortable position and keep you safe. It's tricky, tricky:)
You're starting to attempt sitting up unassisted, I'm sure it won't be long! You're in the jumper and rolling around the floor throughout the day while talking away. You're excited anytime you can get anything in your mouth!
